Closure of Kornhausbrücke

From 17 February to 16 November 2025, the Kornhausbrücke will be completely closed to public transport and motorized private transport. Replacement buses (line 9A) will be available from Bern railroad station (change at Viktoriaplatz) to reach the BERNEXPO site. From Bern main station

Replacement bus no. 9 to Viktoriaplatz, change to tram no. 9 to "Wankdorf Center" station or take bus no. 20 to "Wankdorf Bahnhof" terminus, then tram no. 9 to "Wankdorf Center" station or about 10 minutes' walk.

With the S-Bahn Bern

To station "Bern Wankdorf" (S1, S2, S3, S4, S44), then with tram no. 9 to station "Wankdorf Center" or about 10 minutes on foot.

From Ittigen/Muri

Bus no. 40 to "Wankdorf Center" station.
