FAQ for exhibitors
You can log in directly using your login details (email address and password), which are identical to those used for the Online Service Center, by clicking the “Login” button at the top right and then selecting the “Exhibitor” tab. You can only log in as an exhibitor if you have already started booth registration via the Online Service Center.
The new Online Company Directory is included in your trade fair communication package – there is no additional cost.
You can store additional e-mail addresses in your profile, which can edit the page. You will find an invitation button at the bottom left of your stand's company entry. The respective users must then register themselves (visitor profile) and are directly linked to your stand when they log in for the first time.Alternatively, your employees who are to be authorised can create their own visitor profile (if not already done). Then inform us by e-mail at help@bernexpo.ch which stand this address should have access to, so that we can link them accordingly.
The company contact can NOT be edited directly in the online company directory. To change the address, phone number, e-mail or website, you must log in to our Online Service Center (https://portal.bernexpo.ch). There you can change your company contact details under the heading ''Entry in the exhibitor directory''. Important: The change will not be visible immediately, the company contact will be updated after one or two days.
Your co-exhibitors edit their own entries.
The Online Company Directory helps raise your profile. It’s an overview for visitors, so that they can see which exhibitors are taking part and what products or services they offer. You can record your company, your products and your events and use handy drag & drop to easily upload your logo, images, videos and documents to further enhance your appeal. Visitors can browse through the entries or search for specific exhibitors and their products online – from home or while at the event. What’s more, the direct link to the hall plan will make you and your booth easier to find.
You only have to create an entry once, when you’re first setting it up. You can then re-use this entry the following year, adapting it to your needs as necessary.
You can add or delete brands via the catalogue entry in the Online Service Center at https://portal.bernexpo.ch. You can enter products and events directly in the Online Company Directory. Click on the plus sign in the relevant category to record new products and programme items. Please note the particular instructions regarding the information and images required.
Please delete the images and re-upload them in the correct order. The first image uploaded will be used as the main image.
These images are displayed if you haven’t uploaded your own images. You can replace these images by uploading your own images.
Record your products or services with images, text, etc. under “Products”. Once these have been created, you also need to enable them in your profile overview. To do this, click on the three dots on the right in the top corner of the particular product and then click on “Show”. If a product has not been published, it will have a red background and a line through the small eye. Once it has been published, the red background will disappear, and the small eye will no longer have a line through it. You can also remove a product by clicking on the three dots again and then clicking on “Hide”.
Record your programme items with images, text, etc. under “Programme items”. Once these have been created, you also need to enable them in your profile overview. Open the Online Company Directory in a new browser window and click on “Exhibitors”. If you have published your entry, you will be able to find and view it there.
Please ensure that you have published your entry. To do this, switch to your company entries and check there to see whether the entry status is “live”.
